You’ll have plenty of time on this three-day Uganda safari to explore the famous Murchison Falls national park, including a safari to see four of the big 5. In 1926, a reserve was established as the forerunner to the Murchison Falls National Park, which today spans more than 3800 square kilometers.
After traveling through or squeezing through an 8 m wide valley, the Murchison Falls plunges down a 45 m wall. The roar of the Murchison Falls National Park’s lion is accompanied by a spectacular rainbow-like spectacle brought on by the mist.
Due to its setting and concentration of the majority of Africa’s well-known mammals, the park is undoubtedly the greatest in Uganda. Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls

Banana plantations and farms abound in the countryside. If you stop, expect to find people selling fruits, roasted chicken or beef, roasted cassava, and bananas straight up to your car window.
Rhino sanctuary in Ziwa You will travel to the Luwero district, which was formerly a conflict zone that ended with the rise of the current regime. You will pause and take a detour to track black and white when you approach Murchison Falls along the way.
Day 2: Game drive and cruise along the river Nile and Hiking
Breakfast is the first meal of the day. You’ll be driven on your first morning game drive at 7:00 a.m. (often along the Lake Albert Delta), where you’ll finally get to view the magnificent Savannah grasslands and look out over the Budongo forest. You will be accompanied on the safari by a park ranger or guide who is knowledgeable about the surroundings and where to discover the animals. In addition, you will observe a variety of species, such as warthogs, antelope, lions, hyenas, giraffes, and primates. After lunch, you’ll return to your resort to clean up and get ready for the spectacular launch cruise. Murchison Falls National Park has hippos.

Day 3: Return to Kampala
After a hearty breakfast, you will leave for another wildlife drive in a different area of the park. The final activity of your Murchison Falls safari is the game drive.
You will return to the resort to check out with the assistance of the Mission Africa Safaris guide. The guide will begin the six-hour trip back to Kampala around Mid-day.
The highlight of your safari will be lunch in Masindi, after which you’ll travel on to Kampala and check into your hotel in the late afternoon or evening.
