Gorilla Tracking

4 kilometers separate this territory from Nkuringo Gate. This is the beginning place for three groups of gorillas, each with eight individuals. Additionally, Rushaga Gate is 12 km away and hosts 8 gorilla groups for monitoring each day (8 × 8 = 64 tourists), in addition to 1 group for habituation experiences for 8 people. The site is also approximately a 1.5-hour drive from the mgahinga Gorilla National Park, which has two gorilla populations, totaling 8 people. So, in total, you can host 24 + 16 + 64 + 16 = 120. Normally, all of these people need to remain for at least two nights. A high-end facility might be required by those who spend $600 to track gorillas (Hotel)

Gorilla habituation experience

The only spot in the world where you can get a gorilla habituation experience is at Rushaga Park gate, which is 12 kilometres from the land. It is an extremely exciting experience to interact with mountain gorillas that have become accustomed to being around humans.

Batwa Forest Experience

The displaced Batwa pygmies established the Batwa cultural experience to teach their children and to showcase their unique culture and traditions to the outside world. The Experience is held on property adjacent to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park, outside the park, in an old-growth forest. The Batwa experience starts with a nature walk or stroll through the forest, during which participants get to observe the forest for the first time as its original inhabitants did. Find out what they collected, how they employed traps and nets, and how they hunted the small animals they used for sustenance.
